Tilda with Flowers
Hello! I have not had the time to make cards like I would like lately but today I made this lovely card. I received this new Tilda from a wonderful SCS WishRAKer :), it is from the current collection. I think I might have to order this one! I have made so many pink cards lately I decided to do her dress in blue with my new PrismaColor Pencils. I ended up buying a set of 36 of these from Michael's with a coupon instead of the Copic Markers. I am really liking them! This set has the right colors for hair and skin and flowers etc. plus the pencils are more creamy and blend so much more smoothly than the SU water color pencils. I think I made a good decision :) Anyway after I did the blue dress I hunted down some designer paper to match and this all just came together. I didn't CASE this! I sponged all the edges with more mustard and used Stickles on the flowers. Oh and since I have so much trouble getting the white gel pens to show up I bought some white out in a pen and it works very well, other than harder to control that is. TFL!

Aren't Prismacolor pencils fun? Even though I'm learning the Copics, I still go back to pencils when I want a more vintage feel. And I love being able to erase! Great card -- the blue really pops on the yellow BG. Fun touch of sparkle on the flowers, too!
ReplyDeleteLori, she is just beautiful!!!! I love those colors and the softness of those pencils is very special indeed...Love it ALL!! Hugs, Jacque
ReplyDeleteLori - she's a cute! I love the stickles on the flowers. And that blue cardstock works really well with that SUDP! You have a good eye for color! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, this is a beautiful card! So perfectly coordinated and executed; just lovely!

Great card, Lori!! Thanks for playing along in the challenge, and I love this Tilda too! Great color choices, and love the added sparkle. You should try out our white Signo gel pens. They are a little bit pricey but they work SO nicely. I love them. :O) Kel
