Two More Christmas Cards

 I cased these from MFT, just enjoy making them. I wont be sending them as I dont know who of my friends or family would like them. No matter, I love them! Fun! 

Christmas Cards

 I didn’t plan well, I should have made my cards in November apparently! I have to be in the Christmas mood though and that is after Thanksgiving. However I was gone the first week of December then had company the second week so here we are. I don’t believe my cards will get to their destinations by Christmas but I am sending them anyway. Here is what I have made so far. 

Cardinal Christmas Card

 This is a fun and easy die from HoneyBee. I love the dies they use to go with this bird in the samples- branches and foliage but I haven’t taken the plunge to purchase them. I had these pine branches from The Stamps of Life so I used them. I am pleased with how this turned out!

Sisters Birthday Card

Pretty straightforward Stampin Up card. I enjoyed making it, sometimes it’s nice to have the coordinating papers and ink! 

 

Birthday Cards

 Here are two very different birthday cards for two very different friends!  I love them both and wanted to make cards that would be specifically for them.  One is a very traditional Stampin Up card with their supplies and the other is a Tim Holtz stamp set.  Both fun to do. I am still learning Alcohol markers, they are getting a little easier for me but I really want to get that polished look I see card makers achieve. I am showing the inside of the cards too since I decorated them a bit.

Thanksgiving Cards

 I recently saw some beautiful Fall cards with colored leaves and was inspired to give it a try.  I am not sure what they used to color the leaves but I found a post by Kittie Caracciolo where she used distress inks and they are the best color combo! I had so much fun with this that I made a second card just to do more ink blending of the leaves.  The leaves are a Spellbinder die set from oh gosh 15 years ago? The stamps are the Gnome set by Stampin Up - Kindest Gnomes.  I ink blended behind the Gnome and used Stampin Blends for coloring the Gnome home and part of the Gnome.  On one I paper pieced the hat.

CAS Flower Cards

 Saw a card on Pinterest with the striped strip and was inspired to make these cards.  Kind of a break from Halloween and Fall cards.  The first card is a Rubbernecker Stamp and I used water color markers and spritzed water before stamping and the other card's stamp is from MFT My Favorite Things which I colored with Stamp n Blend alcohol markers.

 

Sunflower Cards in two colors

 I saw a card on Pinterest like this in blue and loved it.  I had to make it, it is so pretty.  Then I decided to try the traditional yellow colors and it is pretty as well, this stamp set by Stampin Up is such a nice set.  The third card is for a friend, the inside sentiment is from Heartfelt Creations.

Halloween Mice Pillar Card

 I like to make different card bases and I saw this one by Einat Kessler on Youtube, its called Triple Pillar Card and it is part of her 2023 12 cards of Christmas.  I wish I had some accesories to go next to the mice like headstones and leaves and scary trees etc. Anyway I enjoyed making it!  

Halloween Mice

 This is from the SSS and Whimsy Stamptember '23 set.  Adorable little mice in costumes!  The haunted house is from MFT. Paper is from Impression Obsession.  

Halloween Theater Card

 I have made quite a few theater cards the last few months, I have the knack of it now with better measurements so they go real quickly.  I am using mostly the same as the previous post plus a mouse from the Simon Says Stamps Stamptember Whimsy release. I am working on a card now with more of that set. Will post it soon.

Halloween Cuties

 Here is a card I made twice, the difference is the background paper.  The stamps are by My Favorite Things, the paper is Doodlebug.  I used my Stampin Up alcohol marker Blends to color and used Gina K amalgam ink to stamp the images.  The purple card stock is from Stampin Up. Which do you like better, the pink or purple?

 

Double Slide Open Card

This is a fun card to make! After the first one I zoomed through the rest. I didnt watch the video so the first time was tricky but the directions were great. This comes from SplitcoastStampers.com - look in the section called tutorials.
