Elegant Birthday Card

 I saw a card on Pinterest and thought it was so elegant so I made it but made some changes to fit what I have in my stash.  This is one of those cards that is deceptively simple, I mean it is but its a lot of layers. I used a scallop edge die, an embossing folder, dies for the sentiment, die for the flowers, stamps including digging out an old large background stamp, lots of paper cutting so a mess on my desk!  Its also colors I am not drawn to, but it works so well. Turned out pretty!

Flip Flap Card

 I have seen this card by other names but this is the name I remember! I made this back at Christmas time, for some reason the directions for that one didnt work as well as this one.  That one kept getting stuck, this one no problems and easier.  I love this Cute as a Bug set, always wanting to make cards with it but I dont know who to send them to.  Would you like a card with bugs on it? I mean they are cute...

Secret Slider Card

 So this card came up a few days after the side gatefold card I just posted.  Same card but this has the addition of the slider part on the inside.  Interesting!  Super easy to make. 

Side Gatefold Card

 This is a gatefold card that is to the side or off-center. Nothing fancy, used Floral Charm Stampin Up DSP and Charming Day flower stamp.

Trio of Arches Card

I do love these arches!  This type card is so good looking, the three arches just flow nicely.  Only took a short time to make and the paper with scenery made it so easy.  

 

Pop- Up Slider Card

Laura Stranks of Creative Gems made a real easy tutorial of this card.  I made it a while ago but it didnt go as easily as this one, I dont remember who I made it from before.  I used the Lovely and Beautiful paper from Stampin Up, love this paper so much! The colors and the gold accents are yummy.

 

Fishing Birthday Easel Card

I downloaded this image from Creativ Fabrica for my nephew's birthday.  Simple easel card. I like the results!

 

Pop-Up Butterfly Card

 Now here is a fun fold card! At least a little more challenging.  It is by Laura Stranks of Creative Gems on YT. I was brave and used the good paper to just make the card without testing it first. I do have a slight error but I was able to smush it into shape.  Next time I will know but I doubt anyone can tell thank goodness. I colored the stamped images on front with Stampin Blends and the inside die cuts I used blender brushes with ink.

Designer Paper Fun Fold Card Diamond Front

 This card was made from a tutorial by Patty Bennett.  She did not have a name for it.  I called it a Diamond front for reference.  Super easy, one piece of DSP 5.5 x 12, score at 2,4,8,10 and fold mountain valley then fold over the corners on the front gate fold part. 

Fun Fold Card and a Masculine Birthday Card

 This card has no name from the tutorial I followed.  I made a sympathy card, the paper, stamp and die set is Lovely and Beautiful from Stampin Up.  The Card with the car is for my Father-in-Law who is turning 84.  The technique to make this card is so fun!  I made it a few years ago and have held onto it for some reason (hard to part with maybe?) so I dont remember what the technique is called.
