October Card Class

 These are the cards we made this month at the card class I go to with my upline. Such a fun time with everyone! We have a potluck lunch as well which is always a feast. 

Double Easel Card Christmas

I am starting on a few Christmas cards since I ordered this cute set.  It is by Stampin Up and called A Little Christmas DSP and Christmas Mice stamps and dies.  The tutorial is from Laura of Creative Gems on Youtube.

 

Double Z Fold Tag Card

This card is from Carys Creative Table. I used Stampin Up DSP called Luxe Foliage and the sunflowers from Radiant Sunflowers.

 

Inside Out Card

 This is a copy of a card on YouTube by StampinNotes with Verna. It was so much fun to make and use all of these parts and pieces of the a Little Christmas and Christmas Mice Suite. So cute! So the front lifts to show three layers but then you flip the front over to the back and the scene appears and becomes an easel card!

Pop Up Card within a Card A2

This is the A2 or 4.25 x 5.5 version of this card.  I just made it that way but had to cut the inside short so it wouldn't stick out when closed.  I forgot to crop the middle image but it kind of looks staged doesnt it? Same paper once again, its so pretty and fun to work with.

 

X Fold Flash Card

Three cards here - This tutorial is from Lauras Creative Gems.  I made a masculine birthday card which I don't make many. The pheasant paper is from the Harvest paper from Stampin Up from last Fall.  I hadn't used this piece so I thought I would give it a go.  Its a pretty piece of paper.  I didn't have anything to match it so I printed out the Pine trees from Creative Fabrica. I think I am going to renew that subscription next year because I have printed out some beautiful things and gotten some lovely fonts. I then made it for my dear friend in TX who loves fancy fun fold cards.  I make one a month for her, I even keep track to be sure I don't forget!  The last one for for the monthly swap I have been doing in Creative Cards with Trish on Facebook.

 

  

Inside Pop Out fun Fold or Magic Wings

Depending on whose tutorial you use, the name is different. One is Dawns Stamping Thoughts and the other is Sue Stampfield Crafternoon.  Sunflower Fields Suite by Stampin Up and the frame is from the Sweet Words and Labels set.

 

Inside Pop-Up Card

 What can I say, when a DSP pack inspires me I use a lot of it!  Apparently I am not the only one as I went to order more and it is out of stock.  Waiting for it to come back as it will be restocked. Anyway this is a 5x5 card which I don't like to mail but it is really lovely.  I used the Sweet Words and Labels dies for the front, just love the shape and little loops along the sides.  Made a bunch of sunflowers and just put them everywhere.  On the back I decided to ink blend Cajun Craze and cut out the sunflowers and it matched perfectly!  Just one light layer.  I like the monochromatic look. Loved making this card!

A Different Flip Flap Card

This card uses the flip flap to the side.  When you open the card the side panel flips open to see the panel underneath.  I also followed the example of cutting out the window to show the pretty paper through.  I believe this came from Carrie's Creative Table.  I used Velvet Meadow DSP from Stampin Up. Such pretty paper and I love green!
