Quick Spring Card
I needed to send something out real quick the other day and decided to do a quick CAS card and much to my surprise it turned out great! For once I like a one layer card :) (that I made). The stamp is one of Penny Black Brushstrokes stamps that I colored directly on the stamp with Stampin Up markers and the twine is from Doodlebug Designs. The button is a random one I have in a box full of buttons. The sentiment is from Hero Arts. Anyway it is nice and Spring-like. Hope you like!

Shopping Girl Birthday Card
I made this card for my BFF's daughter who likes to shop (ok what girl doesn't like to?!). I saw a card on the Hero Arts Blog that inspired this - the designer paper on the right and the Hero Arts Newsprint stamp in the left. They had a shopping girl stamp of theirs which I didn't have - had this one and I love her! She is so girly. I think the stamp is from The Greeting Farm. She is colored with the usual and cut out and on pop dots. The bling in the corners is something I added but the sentiment is like their card. See the glitter on her hair band and the little pink rhinestone? More bling :) I think it came out nicely - hope you like it too!

Carlos the Crab
This stamp is from Kraftin Kimmie stamps, this was on special a few weeks ago and I liked it so ordered it I did! I used the same card stock as the previous post - Poppy Parade I think? (Stampin Up InColor). I had to look at a few ways this was colored, I colored the crab red and it just needed something. I was thinking while coloring this that the crab isn't really red until he is cooked, he is actually brownish or green or even blue. So... he isn't umm ready to eat - just sunburned ;) I found one colored that was sort of dotted so I added the brown and orange dots on his body. Plus as you can see I messed up his eyes. Ugh! I hate how I go to color something and the tip does not go where I think it's going! I have that problem all the time, I must have some sort of hand eye coordination problem LOL! I put the tip exactly where I want it to go and it is beside it! I wonder if someone knows a trick to this, maybe get my face down right beside it - who knows, I try and then I have to try to fix it and end up with this mess. Anyway I added the dots to the sand too and it made a huge difference. How do you like his tongue? LOL! "Got to hold yer mouth jus right." So what next, I wanted to add some shells on the side and looking through my stamps I saw the sun, fish and bucket and thought they would go well with this card. I colored them then added 10 year old diamond glaze... it bubbled and cracked LOL! I have my own crackled look here - guess I should buy a new bottle. I cut them out and yes, pop dots - *giggle* the fish cracks me up. Hope you like!

Happy Mail
This stamp, Happy Mail is a Pure Innocence stamp by My Favorite Things. Cuteness! It is colored with water color crayons by SU and all of the paper and ribbon are also by them. I paper pieced her dress with designer paper in the same pack as the blue patterned paper under the image panel. I put the bird and heart on pop dots and used some Stickles, guess I have been using a lot of the same products lately! Sentiment is from the stamp set. It was nice to make a card today, I made two actually and will post the other next.
Oh as a side note here, see picture below - Oliver being the typical cat has to lay all over the work area and of course leaned up against the card I just made which made him nice and glittery on his butt from the Stickles glitter glue :) Ha! Cats.

Seashore Stamp Cards 2 and 3
Here are the other two cards I mentioned. One is just an inspiration I had to go monochromatic with. It was CAS and then I decided to add a strip of patterned paper. Not being able to find one to match I decided to stamp a strip for it and found my old Stampin Up net looking stamp and it worked nicely. Then of course I had to add stamped shells in it! Then (of course) I had to stamp and cut out a shell. Then added the hemp twine, so much for CAS but I am very happy with it!
This second card is the stamp off from the first card, I wanted to have a faded or lighter look. I framed it with a piece of Kraft card stock that is embossed with a wood grain folder and a Spellbinder die cut. That is on pop dots and I used the same hemp twine to run a border around the edge. I stamped and cut out another shell and adhered. There is Stickles glitter glue on both the shell and the wave. That's all for now for this stamp!

Seashore Stamp
Ahhh I love this new stamp. As soon as I saw it I started thinking about getting it. It is by Our Daily Bread Designs. I have made three cards with it already, this one is the first one I made, for my sister's birthday. I love it! Of course anything ocean, beach etc. is my favorite :) I colored the stamp with markers then stamped it, kind of hard not being able to tell where some things start and finish but looking at another card someone made gave me a better idea where to color. I wish manufacturers would always include a color image. I know they want you to be free to create your own ideas but sometimes black and white isn't enough. Anyway I embossed a white piece of card stock, used a Spellbinders die to cut out the center and put it on pop dots over the image. I stamped and cut out the shell and added Stickles glitter on the shell and the splashing wave. I am very pleased with the result :) The card base is Island Indigo. I will share the other two coming up. Thanks for looking!
