I think it is called butterfly because of the shape of the pop-up parts. I somehow expected a butterfly somewhere. Too literal I guess! This card is for a fan of Dungeons and Dragons, Harry Potter and dragons in general. I think I touched on all these themes! I used AI to create the front of the card and then printed it out on that amazing photo paper, it is matte and not shiny but boy it makes an awesome card. The inside are dragons I got from Creativ Fabrica. That membership has paid for itself already this year. Anyway when you open it the images pop-up. The first time I made this I wasnt extremely particular about the angles I cut and it catches a little, this time I made extra strides to make sure it worked super smoothly. I see some designers make a prototype first with cheaper paper and I see the wisdom in that now! I might employ that idea on more complicated cards.
