This is using Paper Rose Christmas Tree Farm paper and cut outs. A couple items though are rub-ons, ugh the clear part stuck to the paper and was ripping the paper off as I tried to remove it. Rub-on part worked fine just had to leave the clear part which shows. Oh well I will just have to accept it. This is an easy fold card to make.

Christmas Card Triple Z Fold
I am getting out one of my Stampin Up designer paper sets and this one is stunning! I cant wait to use all the beautiful papers. This is a Z fold card with three strips. Simple but pretty. I hand cut the flowers, I think I will order the stamp and die set!

Christmas Card Tuck and Reveal Fun Fold
This is a card made from a Youtube video by Susan Stampfield. She calls it Tuck and Reveal Fun Fold. She sells the instructions on her website. I watched the video and was able to make it. The paper is something I have had for years in my stash called Winter Wonderland by Simple Stories. I am pleased with the combination of papers together. I will put the sentiment on the back for a place to sign later.

Christmas Hexagon or Honeycomb Pop-up Card
I’ve seen this card style a lot lately, Susan Stampfield, Creative Gems and Bronwyn Easterly have versions. I made all three, this one is from Bronwyn actually I bought this paper and cutouts to specifically make this card from her sample for Paper Rose - called Christmas Tree Farm. I have to get the hang of cut outs. I mean, I can fussy cut. It just takes forever. I try to use my brother scan and cut machine to do it and it’s not cooperating. It wants to cut out the outline I make around it and cut out little bits and pieces out of the middle, destroying the image. I asked for help on Jennifer Brodie’s Facebook page and there were some answers, but they are just so time consuming. I have to go back-and-forth between the computer and the machine a couple times which is annoying. It’s quicker even though I’m slow to cut them out by hand which defeats the purpose of buying the scan and cut! The Thanksgiving cards I sent out were so thick that one of them even cost $7.50 to mail so my Christmas cards that I’m going to mail are going to be as thin as I can without being completely plain. Some of the ones that I make that’ll be thick I’ll either hand give them away or I will just keep them because I love making the ones that turn out thick but I can’t see spending $7.50 to mail each card!

Onto Christmas Cards
This die set was hard to get! It was last year or the year before in Stampin Up seasonal catalog or online, I don’t know really where it was. Ebay is my friend but whoa, watch the prices! I love the sled! I should have taken a picture of it by itself. Cute. I used to figure skate so hanging these skates brings back great memories. The sled not so much, haha, when I was little we had this sled and more than once some part of me was run over by the metal rails. Ouch! They were hard to control too. Anyway sledding still was fun. I made two at the same time, which is better? The one with the green layer or the one without?

Thanksgiving Cards Day 7
This card is in a motion card. Dual circles move as you open the card. Fun! Tricky to decorate as the items have to clear the sides and it took a lot of fiddling around the first time. I am currently making two more in an A2 size. This one is 5 x 7. I posted a video - hope it works.

Thanksgiving Cards Day 6
This one I made to sell. Just an experiment. It is using a lot of gold mirror card stock and I quite like it! Stampin Up Amber Autumn again and more of those stickers ( why do I feel like I am cheating?) I also used heavy white card stock for the base. Its a show stopper!

Thanksgiving Cards 5
I have so many cards this year I am going to show you two in this post. The second card which I love, I used stickers for the first time ever. I always thought cards should be stamped and hand colored. I don’t know where that idea came from but I am seeing a lot of cards on YouTube using stickers, washi tape and “toppers” and they’re gorgeous. Well shoot, this loaded with the back side first, usually it posts them in the order I upload them but I am using my iphone to create these posts and you just cant move stuff around so I apologize.

Thanksgiving Card 4
Another one that looks complicated but isnt. Its a good thing I love this paper because its what I have for Fall this year. It really is pretty, the gold in the veins of the leaves and accented here and there just raise it up a notch. Stampin’Up! Amber Autumn stamps and paper.

Thanksgiving Cards 2
I made two of these, the first time I made this card a few years sgo my friend and I watched a video in centimeters and we made it but it just was off. Now we did try to convert it to inches, why I dont know. So now these is going around in Stampin Up cards and I had no problem making it. There is a tab in the back that has to line up but easy peasy this time. I printed the sentiment and the paper is Stampin Up Amber Autumn and Toile.

The Thanksgiving die is from Gina K.
