I find it hard to make a nice Sympathy card. I want it to be tasteful, excellent quality and to say the right thing. So needless to say I didn't have any. I was stamping out a set for a SCS WishRAK request and decided to make a card while I had it out. This one just came to me, not sure how LOL! I love it! It seems to embody the dignity a Sympathy card needs. I used SU designer paper, Nestabilities for the round part in blush and mellow moss and happen to have the moss ribbon. Now it is ready and I hope I don't have to use it (as in someone's loss, not to keep it!).
This is so professional looking! It would sell easily. You should sell at the place (Bazaar?) you did last year and make a few sets of cards to include this one.
ReplyDeleteLori, you do such a wonderful job!
It's beautiful...and I agree, very difficult to create the perfect sympathy card...and I hope you don't have to use it either! Just stare at the pretty!!! : )
ReplyDeleteIs the sympathy quote a stamp? love how it sits like that.
Gorgeous card! I have a really hard time with sympathy cards.
ReplyDeleteThank you so very much! Cheryl, I am not sure if I am going to do that again this year. Donna it is a stamp in the set from SU with the flowers called Close as a Memory. Chrissym I appreciate it!
