Another Calendar

My mom told me she wanted a calendar with pictures of the family. Does this sound like a Christmas present? I think so! I went to Archiver's calendar class and made this wonderful calendar and all I have to do is put the numbers in and the pictures on and done. The blank spaces on the calendar page are where you put your photos. OH great, if she reads this blog she will know her present! Hmmm she usually doesn't unless I tell her to look at it for some reason... Do I chance it? LOL! I have posted a couple of the months, no pictures on them yet and some do not have the numbers. So don't tell her about this my wonderful and sweet family members who look at my blog!

  3. Thanks Cheryl! I'm glad you won't tell her, she just sent me a bunch of emails and I am hoping she didn't figure out how to look at my page. I have to send her the link every time! We will see :)

  4. I love this! Is the calendar from SU? I had thought about this before but also thought it may be too time consuming.....what do you think?

  5. Jenny, Hi and thank you! The calendar is from Archiver's Scrapbook store. I am not a demo but I see there are three sizes of this in the SU catalog very similar. You could buy it and some of the SU designer paper and make your own! Mine is 8" x 8" but you can use whatever size you feel comfortable with! It is time consuming to me, that calendar took me 4 hours with the pages already designed and all I had to do was cut and paste more or less! Now I have to go back and put the pictures on the pages! Good luck, it is a lot of fun :)

  6. Gorgeous! She's going to love it! She can get blank pages for next year and have it re-coiled so the calendar can last forever! That's what my Mom did with one I made her a few years ago.

Oh...and delete this post now that we've all seen it---no point in taking a chance and ruining her Christmas pressie surprise!!!

  8. I'm actually making this calendar right now, but not with the help of the class. I bought the calendar and the cardstock that goes with it but I don't have the letters or the numbers to finish it. Does Archiver's sell that? I'm 2 hours from the nearest one and I might be able to convince DH to go there tomorrow with me.

Like you, I'm making this for my mom. We moved 2000 miles away and I know she misses the kids so I thought she'd enjoy this Christmas present. You did a wonderful job on yours!
