Sunflower

I love Sunflowers and when I saw this stamp I had to get it. It is called Potted Sunflower Frame by Great Impressions. I used my gift certificate that my good friend gave me for my birthday. Just as soon as I got it someone on SCS asked for it in the WishRAK, I just had to grant that wish :) It had ink on it the second it was in my house. I stamped the images for her and then had to make a card. This was the sketch challenge on Weds. and it is a rather nice one I think. I used some Basic Grey papers I had in my stash and used my favorite blue and yellow color combo (Summer Sun, Brocade Blue and Bashful Blue). The metal charm on the circle sentiment is a sunflower, I used a pop-dot to attach it and in person it looks a little more interesting than in this picture!

  5. Thanks Rachel!
Cheryl I just don't want to sell my cards for the price people want to pay so I think I will skip this year. I rather GIVE cards to my friends and family than sell them. It just doesn't justify the hours of labor and expense of materials! If you ever want a card let me know :)
