Kitty Cat Card
This is a Case of a card however I didn't have the same of anything! Different Cat stamp, background, flowers - all what I had on hand that was similar. It's another fun card! By the way the background stencil is from The Stamps of Life, it is awesome. I used watercolors with a water brush to basically smear the blue color all over it and when I took the stencil off I was so pleased. Definitely going to use this again!

Watercoloring with Ink Card
I used Stampin' Up! Reinkers with a watercolor brush to color these plain foil card stock papers. I even made a video for my friends who wanted to see how this is done!
Here is the link to the video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UumtIDd4fGY&t=645s
I have never made a video before! I wonder if I should make another some time? It was fun.
The card below I made with the same technique - this is what it looks like finished. I used gold foil card stock for the birthday greeting.

Floral Card with Ornate Garden
The stamps, dies and paper are from the Ornate Garden Suite. I Cased a card and changed the color of the cardstock for the mat. I used a sentiment from a different set - the ornate set comes with a great thank you set but I didn’t want a thank you card. I did some masking with the daisies! Kristina Werner is always talking about the Gina K masking paper and I bought it a while back but this is the first time using it. It is wonderful! No edge problem, usually when I mask the edge of what I am masking leaves a gap. This paper is super thin and nice removeable adhesive. So glad I used it, will now be little less reluctant to do the masking technique.

Poppy Cards in Blue
Here are the other cards I mentioned in my previous post. Totally different, right? These use the blue background poppy papers. I love these just as much as the others! I used dies and embossing folder from the Ornate Garden Suite as well as various companies sentiments and dies. The flower dies and stamps are the Poppy Sets from Stampin' Up! I should have bought the whole suite to begin with, I ended up piece by piece buying it. Glad I bought the Ornate Garden one in one swoop! Expensive but it is amazing to have everything coordinate and match so well, makes card making a lot easier. Which do you like better, the white(ish) background flower paper yesterday or the blue background flower paper today?

Poppy Paper Cards
So I have been seeing sets of cards made with the Stampin' Up! Peaceful Poppies Designer Paper so this is my first set I Cased. I am working on the second set. This paper is gorgeous! Every sheet is pretty. The second set is totally different, wait until you see! You won't believe its the same paper. I made two of each of these, relatively quick considering minimal stamping and coloring. The sentiments are from another company (either Hero Arts/Gina K or Simon Says Stamps - can't remember).

Watercolor Flower Card
Always love doing this technique. I used watercolor markers on the stamp, spritzed with water and stamped onto water color paper. I then used ink and a watercolor brush to paint on the blue background. Fairly quick card with stunning results! Penny Black stamp.
Poppy Flowers Card
I saw this card online and thought it was such a cool idea I wanted to try it. The paper and card style are exactly what was done with that card but I used all different flowers and butterflies as I did not have the set that was used. Wish I did! This paper is just so pretty. It’s from Stampin’ Up! The poppy flower dies are as well.

Lighthouse Cards
I recently got this Lighthouse set from Stampin' Up! I have wanted it for a long time but I have so many lighthouse stamps and dies... Sigh couldn't resist when I was able to get it almost for free! I CASEd some cards I saw online, I love the flying seagulls and the standing ones in this set! The clouds are an edge stencil that really worked nicely for this card.

Pretty Flower Card
I do love making flower cards! This paper is so gorgeous, everything I make with it comes out so pretty. The layered flower dies are from Altenew. Just a pretty birthday card for a friend.
Card for a Nurse
During this COVID-19 time my cousin was asked to work in the ICU COVID ward. She has been a nurse for close to 40 years and recently has been working with heart catheterization. She actually worked for FEMA for quite a few years developing plans for things like a Pandemic. So I made this card for her, she is a hero.

Happy Easter
This is another original! Inspired by all the cards made with this beautiful gold foil card stock. Inside it says Happy Easter. The die is from Just Right Designs the cross is from spellbinders. The embossing folder is from Stampin’ Up! It is super shiny and I love that. Hard to tell but there are 5 layers.

Braid or Weave Card Edge Covid-19 Time
This style card was posted a couple of weeks ago and I just had to try it! I love it. Posted this one on Splitcoast Stampers right away. Now the stamps are the March Paper Pumpkin Card kit and this is what I did with them. The paper is all Stampin' Up! Wisteria Wonder. One of my favorite colors of theirs but I think they discontinued it. Currently they have Highland Heather which is really pretty. I sent this to my card making friends during this isolation time because it is so appropriate. By staying home we are in this together keeping down the spread of Covid-19. Some day I will look back on this blog post and remember this time in history.
